Civil Litigation

Civil litigation is a general term that applies to legal disputes that involve appearing for trial before a Court and presenting a case.

Not all attorneys handle trial work, and does not include any criminal actions. While the nature of specific disputes may vary, the procedure and legal rules for trial work require special training and experience. Sometimes referred to as a litigation attorney or trial attorney, this refers to the broad set of skills and experience involved with trials such as witness questioning, objections, presentation of evidence, law and motion matters, investigations, and opening and closing arguments. I have appeared and handled trials dozens of times in California and Federal Courts for the last 20 years.
